            Will barely cover the internal pot and won't come close to covering the entire pit. My pit was described as a 30" but the external pot is at least 4 inches larger than that.

            Q1: How do I measure the fire pit diameter, from side to side or all the way around the pit?

            A: Diameter is measured from side to side. All the way around the pit is the circumference.

            Q2: I am looking at the 30 inch fire pit cover but when I measured my pit it was 30.5 inches. Will this cover fit or do I need to consider the 35 inch cover?

            A: The 35 inch cover would definitely work.
