I was looking for a nice size table in this price range that would allow me to fit more than a couple of woodchips in. Although the depth isn't what I would personally want, it can't afford much more because the table isn't that high. Construction wasn't that bad but when you have to perform extra drilling because the holes don't line up it becomes annoying. The "pit" is made of really cheaper aluminum that is painted and I have read that the paint will come off. Mine pit started to smoke from getting hot and smelled like paint burning. Hopefully that only happens during the first ocassion. All in all I believe the table will hold up and keep me happy that I purchased it.

Purchased for a summer cottage in MA, to sit around a "campfire" on chilly New England evenings. Very attractive, good design, very heavy--but some weak spots.[...] The reason was obvious when I unpacked it... the enameled decorator rings are quite heavy and rough handling will cause those four pieces to crash through the box. That resulted in a dent in the copper bowl and marring of the edge of that bowl, not enough that I was willing to go through the process of return, but enough to be annoying. Second, while the quality of the materials and parts is pretty good (except for the poker, which is junk), the machining of the enamel rings was slightly off resulting in a bit of difficulty in assembling it. Third, the size of the copper bowl should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger in diameter to fit properly. Fourth, the bowl is thin and I have a bit concerned about how well it will hold up for more than on season! Contrary to some critics comments, it was not difficult for this 75-year old to assemble it by myself.

Very satisfied looks beautiful in the backyard. This is a quality product and easy to assemble. Would highly recommend this product and can't beat the price.
