We have a river rock bed in our backyard and this firepit adds to our gathering space. Perfect size and very functional. My husband and I had it assembled in about 45 min. We shopped around quite a bit before this purchase and for the money found this to be a good product for the money. Would definetly recommend this product.

Fears of assembly difficulties are not as great as described. Yes, the instructions could add just a little more but I found that using their suggestion of laying out the parts before assembly would be the absolute optium method. Of course, I did not follow that suggestion but noticed early on that a detail look at "what goes were" and "one of these is not like the others" is important. On the negitive side some of the holes for the screws were a bit difficult to line up.
Suggest the assembler pay attention to the suggested operation of "do not tighten until necessary" as it helps in hole line-up. Suggest manufacturer step up the grade of screws used. All went well but came close to striping 2 screw heads. No, I'm not a power lifter and was not using a power screw driver.
During assembly I did have a concern that the table would not be as strong as I would like. Once assembled, the product satisfies that concern very well. Looks great, worked well first and second time out. We like it very much. Nice purchase.

I rarely rate anything/person as perfect. That being said, this product appears to be everything that we were looking for. Despite other reviews re. difficult assembly, it really was not hard. It took me 2 hrs. You have to be fairly spatially oriented, but really not that difficult. Suggest using a drill w/ a screwdriver bit to expedite. Good looking table and fit and finish I rate at 90%
