I own a similar firepit of a different brand. We enjoy using it, but have been disappointed in the quality and difficulty to clean. I purchased a patina crossfire for two of my sons and their families. Both are extremely satisfied with them. The Patina is far superior to the one that I own in sturdiness, functionality and appearance.

The unit doesn't look like it does in the online picture, as the criss-crosses are more like small diamonds and are not as attractive. Also, my unit arrived with several scratches and a bent rim. It was simply placed in a box without any protective packing materials- and it arrived looking like that was the case.

Love the rusty finish - looks great, ready to fire it up. For the price it's much better, solid and more attractive than those you will find in the big box stores. Its a completely solid piece and looks fantastic!

So far we love it. The real reviews will come after a few years of weather, but it seems to be well made and heavy-duty, yet not too heavy to carry around between the front and back yards. The open design of the sides helps keep our legs warm, but I could see that being a con as the weather warms up.
