The first thing you will notice is the excellent construction. The legs are a tripod configuration and are welded to the base resulting in a very sturdy pit. The weight also contributes to the stability although it is not so heavy as to make moving it a chore. The circumference and depth provide more than enough room to create a nice warm fire. The outside ring, which extends around the top of the pit, provides an easy way to transport the pit and also makes dumping out the ashes a simple chore. The accessories are a nice touch and are well made.
All in all a great product. When compared to the pits sold in the box stores, this pit beats them all.
