I was looking for a firepit for the backyard, for entertaining, and to dispose of the wood from several trees I cut down. This fit the bill perfectly, and a good value for what it is. We spent many nights sitting by the fire, grilling hot dogs on sticks or roasting marshmallows... the best part of camping, without having to sleep in a tent! It is solid and sturdy, was easy to put together, and portable. Stows easily in the garage to keep it out of the weather, though it does come with a plastic rain cover. The spark cover is a little flimsy, but gets the job done. Just don't put this on a wooden deck, as it will singe the wood (I propped the legs of mine on wood planks in the backyard, and it burned the wood a little) Throws some good heat, and is large enough to fit some decent sized logs. Good product, I would purchase again!

I ordered and received the following fire pit, however, one of the parts is faulty. One of the parts that makes up the ring around the fire pit was not made correctly. Upon detailed examination, it looks like it was welded on backwards (see attached photo) so the curve is not in line with the fire pit - as a result, the hoop ring does not fit around the fire pit.
As a result, the fire pit cannot be moved easily, and the ring is not stable as it cannot be completely connected together.
Please provide a replacement part for the item above, or let me know what other action I need to take to get this matter resolved.

This fire pit is awesome. My husband left for the dump and i decided to tackle construction of the fire pit. When i took it out of the box, it was heavier and bigger than our old/last pit. It went together in no time and looks beautiful assembled. Our last pit, didn't come with a bottom grate - this did. Overall, for the price and quality this was a good deal and i'm happy i shopped around on line before jumping at a popular/free shipping over $25 site! The added cooking grate, poker & cover were a bonus. Plus - FREE shipping......i couldn't find it cheap. Thank you. We can't wait to burn!

Box to fire in less than 20 minutes. Handsome, light weight, nice sized. Bonus, the bar around the pit doesn't get overly warm so little hands won't get burned if they accidently get too close. Be aware of the legs if you are stretching out to warm your toes, one us melted a bit of rubber on flip flips. Haven't used the cooking grate yet but I see (non-toxic, old fashioned) grilling ahead. Enjoy!

I like the size color and the weight of this fire pit. I wish it had four legs instead of only three. I was able to put together very easily. Large enough to allow several people to sit around t comfortably. I like the cover because it keeps the bowl dry and allows me to keep outside in the elements. when my box arrived it was split open. Everything was there and the bowl was not damaged. This product is made well. I look forward to many smores and nights outside enjoying the warmth of the fire.

A: We do not recommend using our wood burning fire pits on a wooden surface, or on grass; near walls or flammable articles or under overhead coverings. Keep at least 2 feet away from all other articles during use.
