The first two bolts I installed to hold the legs on stripped out immediately. This means that there are issues with the legs eventually coming loose and the fire pit tipping over. The screen lid doesn't fit well and is very light weight. It could blow off in high winds and would fall off when the legs fail. Don't leave this one close to your house unattended.

My only complaint was the packing material used to ship didn't do a good job in protecting the outer rim of the pit as there were a few minor dents. Nothing major and not worth shipping it back. I have to say this was a great value for the money and will probably enjoy this fire pit for many years to come. By the way, it even came with a grilling grate that I thought was optional. A nice surprise!

This outdoor fire pit was very easy to put together, just read direction (men). The heat that is relaesed through the sides is unbelievable. I did add some pieces of small angle iron in the bottom to get the grate off the bottom of the pit. Added protection from the hot ashes. We have really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit.

I picked this one out because of the size and palm tree design. I showed up just in time for our neighborhood Christmas party. Mass kudos from the neighbors.
The only thing I was disappointded in was the screen top. Very thin gauge wire, very flexible. Do not put in on the fire while the flame is above the rim. The wire was glowing in just seconds.
