1. Propane fire pits let you enjoy the comfort and ambiance of an
outdoor campfire without stinky smoke, messy ashes, or dangerous embers.
Unlike wood
fire pits, propane models are safe for use on decks and in urban
areas.
2. You can still commune with nature without abandoning modern conveniences by using a propane fire pit while camping or fishing. Highly portable and compact, these pits deter bugs, cook evenly, and generate heat without the fuss of a wood fire.
3. You don't have to be a Boy Scout to start a fire on a propane fire pit - just flip a switch and push a button to ignite the flame. No need to be a lumberjack either - when you run out of fuel, simply fill up your propane tank.
4. Propane fire pits are more sophisticated and offer more features than a simple wood fire. Many pits have variable speeds and temperature controls to customize your comfort. Pay attention to the pit's efficiency rating, which will help you save on fuel costs.
5. Sure, you can get a propane fire pit that looks like the real thing, complete with rocks, imitation logs, and rustic style. But since none of these things are functionally required, you're free to experiment with contemporary designs and materials.

"I recently purchased the 30" Copper Firepit with the Scroll Wrought Iron base. It was easy to assemble. It only took approximately 5 minutes. It goes well with the decor in the backyard. My granddaughter loves it, and can't wait until I fire it up. She likes to toast marshmallows in it. For safety sake, I toast the marshmallows. The firepit gives a warm ambiance to the backyard. The whole family loves it.
