Packaging was decent for a heavy object, but the outer box could be a little larger and there was a LOT of tape being used to hold it all together. Assembly went without problems, and the look/feel of the fire pit is as expected. A decent product all in all....

Delivery was timely. Had no trouble putting it together but it did take longer than one hour! The only items missing were 4 washers and that was no problem. Like the way it looks on our patio and it exceeds our expectations! The ten pounds of lava rock was not enough and we have supplemented that with twenty pounds of tempered fire nuggets and now it looks perfect!

Living in South Louisiana, there are few nights that a firepit is a necesity, however, with the amount of time we spend on our back patio, we figured it would be a great addition. The heat output of this pit is pretty good if your right up at the table top, however, the 8' radius is a bit of an exaggeration.

The quality of the item is pretty good. Seems sturdy and was easy to assemble. It took me about an hour total.

I would have given this 4 stars but I had issues with damaged pieces, so please see my service and delivery comments.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was fast but the packaging and condition was awful. The box that it came in didn't even fit completly around it, and in order to keep the item from coming out of the box, one entire side of the package was made of tape. One corner of the box was torn and had parts exposed.

Several of the pieces were damaged. The internal brace was mangled, but this didn't really matter to me as it still assembled fine, and didn't show anyway. However, two of the side panels had large scratches on them. The worst one of them was one of table top pieces, which has two large areas that are all scratched up. This is completely noticeable, even from a distance.

I would recommend to a friend if they implemented some changes with the packaging.

The pit arrived on time without shipping damages. It was not extrememly hard to assemble but it is time consuming. As a small female, I had a friend help me move it, as it weighs about 100 lbs. The heat output is good but not as large as the radiance described. I bought more lava rocks because they do not send you enough. It should be very easy to clean and weather resisent. I have the pit on my uncovered outdoor patio and use it in the evenings while entertaining and/or relaxing. I do not like how the handles on the side are silver but the pit is copper, however this is an easy fix with either spray paint or new handles.
