Heatstrip
Slimline electric infrared patio heaters, Australian engineering.
The Story
Heatstrip is the Australian-designed slimline electric infrared heater that solved the ugly-aluminum-stand problem. 3-inch deep profile mounts flush under eaves or along patio beams; no bulky reflector, no visible element glow.
Two series: MAX DC Commercial (dual-element, 4000W-6000W, meant for high-ceiling commercial installs) and Classic Slimline (2400W residential). Both are 240V electric — simple hard-wire, no gas line.

Questions
Frequently Asked About Heatstrip
Electric vs. gas patio heaters — which should I pick?
Electric (Heatstrip) if you want slimline profile, zero visible heat source, no gas-line routing. Gas (Infratech / Sunpak / Sunglo) if you want higher BTU + no 240V circuit. Electric runs ~$0.80/hour at a 2400W draw; gas runs ~$0.50/hour at NG rates.
Does Heatstrip need a 240V circuit?
Yes — all MAX and Classic Slimline heaters run on 240V dedicated circuit, hard-wired. A licensed electrician handles the install (not plug-and-play 120V).
What's MAX DC Commercial vs. Classic Slimline?
MAX DC Commercial is dual-element (two heater coils for faster warm-up + higher output) rated for commercial 10-14 ft ceilings. Classic Slimline is single-element for residential 8-10 ft eave mounts.
